I had a lot of fun at KOOL! Not only did we celebrate the station’s 40th anniversary, but we also brought KOOL back to #1 for the first time in 6 years. This was my first time playing classic hits full-time, so I got to meet a bunch of legendary artists.
One of the first events I did was the KOOLympics. You think Arizona is all desert? Think again! Just north of Flagstaff is the SNOW BOWL!!!
Isn’t EVERY show a party? They should be!
America the beautiful…band.
I got some decent TV facetime in Phoenix.
That’s Baxter from the D-Backs, the KOOL Cover Girls and Maria Knight.
We had AMAZING sunsets.
Pluto is SO much smarter than Goofy.
They said “Jeffro, clean up your act!” So I drank sanitizer.
I miss my Phoenix house. I had a pool room!
I’ve been wearing the same shirt EVERY Halloween for a long time…
Hi tech, baby.
The Beach Boys 50th anniversary concert was phenomenal!

My name…in lights!
I bumped into this dude at the Kia dealership when I was endorsing their Optima.
This was my office. I spent a LOT of time in there. Too much, honestly.
I had a brief affair with Minnie Mouse.
Maria Knight and her BFF, Tracy. We saw Sugarland together.
The entire KOOL staff at our 40th Anniversary concert with Earth, Wind & Fire! (It was THEIR 40th as well.)
We had cake!!!
New specs! The better to see you with, my dear.
More TV facetime…one year later and 18 pounds less.
As I said, EVERY show is a party!
These are some legendary CBS Radio classic hits jocks! (Joe Cortese/WODS, Bob Schumann/WOMC, Bobby Mitchell/WOMC, Broadway Bill Lee/WCBS-FM, Paula Street/WODS & me…not so legendary.
There’s that Halloween shirt again.
Gillette was the program director at KOOL for a minute. He’s my hero.
Drinks with co-workers.
Kenny Loggins and a puffy Jeffro.
Charlie Brown tree…perfect for my office!
I saved the best for last. Sandy Corcoran is one of the hardest working and sweetest humans I’ve EVER met. It was my honor to work side-by-side with her for three years!
